She explained another option would be for staff to conduct a survey
annually to see how employees feel about the organizations diversity.

Fynewever recommended the survey be broken down by department to better understand
each department within City Hall.

E. Updates

Fynewever stated she would be requiring the Task Force to discuss race at the November
meeting. She requested staff provide data from the Public Safety Department.

Allen reported the Edina Task Force focused solely on race.

Luong believed this conversation would be helpful and may raise some valuable questions.

McQuillan stated he provided PREC with a presentation from the Inclusive Community Task
Force and explained there was an interest in what recommendations this group would be
making.

Massopust reported the City was still in need of election judges. He noted absentee voting
was now open.

VII. Adjournment

Motion by McQuillan, seconded by Luong to adjourn the meeting at 7:56 p.m. Motion carried
6-0.

Respectfully submitted,

Devin Massopust
Assistant City Manager
