Call to Order <br />Chairperson Zisla called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Members Present: Chair Paul Zisla, Commissioners Bob Benke, Monica Garcia-Perez, Rachel <br />Nelson, and Mike Murlowski <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Harry Carter, Kevin Peck, Rachel Luong, and Clint Kuipers <br />Also Present: Janice Gundlach- Assistant Director of Community Assets & <br />Development/Planning Director, Craig Schlichting-Community Assets & Development <br />Director, Brent Bissell-Consultant Planner from Sambatek, and Councilmember Graeme <br />Allen <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br />Motion by Commissioner Benke, seconded by Commissioner Murlowski to approve the <br />agenda as presented. Approved 5-0 <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br />Motion by Commissioner Benke, seconded by Commissioner Allen to approve the minutes <br />from the June 6, 2018 meeting. Approved 5-0 <br />V. Report from Council Liaison <br />Councilmember Allen provided the EDC with an update from the City Council. He stated <br />staff and the Council has been working on a new City logo. He encouraged the EDC <br />members to provide feedback on the designs on the City’s website or on Facebook. He <br />reported open voting has started and would occur at the New Brighton Community Center. <br />He indicated Stockyard Days was still seeking volunteers. He explained Gundlach would be <br />leaving the City and wished her well in her new position with the City of Inver Grove <br />Heights.
