7 <br />• 12 people taken to jail <br />• 8 DWI arrests <br />• 13 drivers cited for DAR/DAS <br />• 9 vehicles towed <br /> <br />Notes: SPPD officer completed another "Hat Trick" by arresting three drivers for DWI <br />during the shift. One of the drivers arrested struck three cars and later blew .28 AC on <br />the DMT breath test. A RCSO deputy arrested a driver for DWI that tested at .16 AC and <br />was found to be in possession of powder cocaine in her pocket. A Maplewood officer <br />arrested two parties in possession of crack cocaine. <br /> <br />New Brighton Police hosted the TZD Hi-Viz DWI Saturation on Fri, Aug 10, 2018 from <br />7 p.m. to 3 a.m. in conjunction with their Stockyard Days celebration. <br /> <br />Nine overtime funded officers and six volunteer Reserve officers compiled the following: <br /> <br />• 87 traffic stops <br />• 6 people taken to jail <br />• 4 DWI arrests <br />• 8 drivers cited for DAR/DAS <br />• 2 vehicles towed <br /> <br />Notes: SPPD officer arrested a 16 year old driver for Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle. <br />RCSO deputy arrested a driver for DWI that tested at .13 AC with their 8 year old son in <br />the car. Another SPPD officer made 18 traffic stops with one DWI arrest along with 23 <br />total violations cited and 5 verbal warnings. <br /> <br />Saint Paul Police hosted the TZD Hi-Viz DWI Saturation on Thursday, August 16, 2018 <br />from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. to kick off the Labor Day DWI wave. <br /> <br />Thirteen overtime funded officers and six volunteer Reserve officers compiled the <br />following: <br /> <br />• 148 traffic stops <br />• 16 people taken to jail <br />• 4 DWI arrests <br />• 25 drivers cited for DAR/DAS <br />• 3 vehicles towed <br /> <br />Notes: High number of drivers cited for Driving After Revocation, Suspension or <br />Cancellation with one NSP officer citing 9 drivers for DAR/DAS and 2 drivers for No <br />MN Driver License out of 19 traffic stops. <br /> <br />SPPD officer made two DWI arrests for drugs with blood draws, one of which stemmed <br />from a car vs. tree personal injury crash. <br /> <br />Another SPPD officer arrested four individuals from one car where drugs and a handgun <br />were found. The charges included DWI, Possession of a Controlled Substance, <br />Possession of a Firearm by an Ineligible, Possession of a Pistol without a Permit and a 30
