Sp�xial Prtx;laE»�ai�x, <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Burg to adopt a <br />Gundlad,. <br />Special Proclamation Recognizing Janice Gundlach. <br />City Manager Lotter praised Planning Director Gundlach for her professional and ethical service to the City <br />and wished her well in her new position with the City of Inver Grove Heights. <br />Mayor Johnson read a proclamation in full for the record recognizing Janice Gundlach for her 12 years of <br />dedicated service to the City ofNew Brighton. <br />Councilmember Burg thanked Planning Director Gundlach for her great service to New Brighton and <br />commended her on her professionalism and growth. <br />Councilmember Jacobsen thanked Planning Director Gundlach for speaking so effectively to the public, the <br />Planning Commission and the City Council. He wished her well in her new position. <br />Councilmember Allen thanked Planning Director Gundlach for her high level of preparedness and <br />professionalism. <br />Mayor Johnson spoke to the legacy that Planning Director Gundlach would be leaving with the City ofNew <br />Brighton and encoti aged Ms. Gundlach to be proud ofall of her accomplishments. <br />Planning Director Gundlach thanked the City Council and staff for all oftheir support and well wishes. Oath of Office for Police Officer Anthony Semanko. <br />2. oath of 01hce for <br />Police Officer Anthony <br />City Manager Lotter explained Public Safety Director l'aetzrlick and City Clerk Spangtud would be <br />Semanko. <br />presenting this item to the Council. <br />Public Safety Director Paetznick introduced the City Council to newly hired Police Officer Anthony <br />Semanko to the City Council and described his education and work history. <br />City Clerk Spangrud administered the Oath of Office to Police Officer Anthony Semanko. A round of <br />applause was offered by all in attulEfancc. <br />Councilmember Jacobsen stated Officer Semanko wasjoining a great organization and encouraged Officer <br />Semanko to remember the great responsibility he had to the community. <br />Councilmember Allen thanked Officer Semanko for pursuing a career in public service. <br />Councilmember Burg welcomed Officer Semanko to the City and wished him well in his new position. <br />Mayor Johnson welcomed Officer Semanko to the New Brighton Public Safety Department. <br />Officer Semanko thanked the City Council for their support and stated he appreciated working for such a fine <br />organization. <br />Consent A>�enda <br />Consent Agenda <br />1.
