Larson suggested that the City do a virtual tour for the <br />commissioners, put online for any citizens that may be interested in the development. <br /> <br />Scheduling <br />Black reviewed the scheduling timeline that was enclosed in the packets. Several members <br />asked if staff could continue to provide updated timelines. Black agreed to provide monthly <br />updates to the Commission. <br /> <br />Library <br />Harreld reported that the Library Task Force met with four County Commissioners, who are <br />open to new ideas and proposals. Benke asked if the City would be making a proposal to the <br />County Commissioners. Fulton replied that the City would submit a proposal. Harreld indicated <br />that the task force is looking for companies that would be interested in partnering with the <br />library. She also inquired if the City would be open to moving the library from the current <br />proposed location to an area by Long Lake Regional Park, so the park could include an <br />environmental center. Fulton replied that the City has looked at several locations for the library <br />and would be open to relocating it from its current proposed location. <br /> <br />Brighton Village <br />Fernelius reported that Kraus-Anderson requested and was approved for an extension of the site <br />plan for 180 days. At this time the demolition has not been scheduled. Stang asked if Champps <br />was still planning to remodel the liquor store into a smoking bar. Fernelius replied that they <br />were, and it would also include an outdoor eating area. <br /> <br />Business Council <br />Black reported that the meeting was lightly attended and that the City will be looking at adding <br />some new items to the up-coming agenda to help increase attendance. The next meeting will be <br />held on January 3 1,2006. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />Black introduced Bruce Nustad, President ofthe Twin Cities North Chamber, who will be the <br />new liaison to the Commission. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:39 a.m. <br />
