Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Axberg. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Commissioners Pam Axberg (Chair), Amelia Kuiper, Matt Johnson, Zachary <br />Johnson, Abe McEathron, and Julia O’Rourke. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Kevin Fields, Mike Santi and Charlie Warner. <br /> <br />Also Present: Director Jennifer Fink; and Council Member Mary Burg. <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by O’Rourke, seconded by Johnson to approve the agenda as presented. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Johnson, seconded by McEathron to approve the May 1, 2019 minutes as presented. <br />Motion carried 5-1 (Commission Z. Johnson abstained). <br /> <br />V. Business Items <br /> <br />A. Review of Rice Creek North Master Plan Proposal – Ben Karp, Ramsey County <br /> <br />Director Fink reported Ramsey County Parks and Recreation has approached the City of <br />New Brighton looking for a resolution of support for their new master plan for the Rice <br />Creek North Regional Trail Corridor. Ben Karp, Landscape Designer for Ramsey County Parks <br />and Recreation, will present the plan and the updated changes. The Commission can then <br />decide whether to recommend that the City Council provide a resolution of support for this <br />plan. <br /> <br />Ben Karp, Ramsey County, reviewed the Rice Creek North Master Plan proposal with the <br />Commission. He explained this master plan would serve as a guiding document that would <br />identify long term infrastructure and recreation improvements for the development of a
