Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Axberg. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Commissioners Pam Axberg (Chair), Kevin Fields, Amelia Kuiper, Matt <br />Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Julia O’Rourke, Mike Santi, and Charles Warner. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Abe McEathron. <br /> <br />Also Present: Director Jennifer Fink; Assistant Director Jason Hicks; and Council Member Mary <br />Burg. <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Warner, seconded by Johnson to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried 8- <br />0. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Johnson, seconded by Santi to approve the October 2, 2019 minutes as presented. <br />Motion carried 7-0-1 (Fields abstained). <br /> <br />V. Business Items <br /> <br />A. Update on the New Brighton Farmers Market – Angela Fredrickson, New Brighton <br />Farmer’s Market <br /> <br />Director Fink stated the New Brighton Farmers Market is now in its fourth year of existence. <br />This year, the Market created new relationships with the City. She reported Angela <br />Fredrickson is here to share information about the market, its history, and how the future <br />looks. <br /> <br />Angela Fredrickson, New Brighton Farmer’s Market, introduced herself to the Commission <br />noting she was the market manager. She explained the United Theological Seminary <br />approached the City in January of 2016 to discuss the potential of a farmer’s market. She <br />indicated a community group was formed at that time and the farmer’s market was <br />established three months later. She reported the farmer’s market has been going strong and <br />moved to the New Brighton Community Center in 2019. She stated the fourth summer was <br />the most successful to date and vendors appreciated the new space. She explained the total <br />number of vendors per week ranged from 23 to 38 with six food trucks. She reviewed the
