<br />In my current position I am responsible for creating USCIS-wide programs and initiatives to increase cultural awareness

<br />Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1614; Counseled employees and applicants who have raised allegations of
<br />discrimination; Reviewed formal complaints of discrimination and drafting letters framing allegations accepted for
<br />investigation; Responded to inquiries from individuals who have initiated the discrimination complaint process and/or
<br />their representatives, agency attorneys, the Department of Homeland Security's Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
<br />(CRCL), or the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). In accordance with Title 29 CFR1614, developed an
<br />impartial and factual investigative report of discrimination complaint allegations from which determinations were made.

<br />I was responsible for performing a full range of recruitment and placement activities in support of management's goal to
<br />identify, attract, and retain a high quality and diverse workforce. I was assigned a district in the western region to provide
<br />advice and support to managers, supervisors, and other staff members on recruitment and placement matters for a
<br />variety of professional, administrative, technical and clerical occupations. Part of assisting the region required me to
<br />prepare, review and verify information on requests for vacancy announcements to assure correctness. It was also my
<br />responsibility to give advice to management on a wide range of staffing matters (e.g. recruitment strategies, recruitment
<br />methods, special pay incentives, etc.). Part of the announcement phase of my responsibilities was to verify employment
<br />eligibility, qualifications, veterans preference, salary determinations and sets pay. I also met weekly with the district
<br />representatives to provide status reports staffing, recruitment and placement; Advised management on a wide range of
<br />recruitment and placement practices.
