In accordance with Title 29 CFR1614, developed an <br />impartial and factual investigative report of discrimination complaint allegations from which determinations were made. <br /> <br />Department of Homeland Security-USCIS HROC, Bloomington, MN <br />Human Resource Specialist, 08/2016 – 02/2018 <br />I was responsible for performing a full range of recruitment and placement activities in support of management's goal to <br />identify, attract, and retain a high quality and diverse workforce. I was assigned a district in the western region to provide <br />advice and support to managers, supervisors, and other staff members on recruitment and placement matters for a <br />variety of professional, administrative, technical and clerical occupations. Part of assisting the region required me to <br />prepare, review and verify information on requests for vacancy announcements to assure correctness. It was also my <br />responsibility to give advice to management on a wide range of staffing matters (e.g. recruitment strategies, recruitment <br />methods, special pay incentives, etc.). Part of the announcement phase of my responsibilities was to verify employment <br />eligibility, qualifications, veterans preference, salary determinations and sets pay.
