<br />Page 7 - January 10, 2006 New Brighton Council Minutes <br /> <br />Director of Community Development, Grant Fernelius explained the <br />Irrent zoning code does not allow for outdoor dining. The City Attorney <br />ggested the zoning code be amended to allow for outdoor dining. A <br />blic Hearing was held December 20,2005, no comments were received. <br />.L e Planning Commission's recommendation is to approve the <br />amendment to the zoning code. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Doffing, seconded by Council Member Bauman to <br />approve an ordinance amending New Brighton Zoning Code Section 5-240 to include the <br />following paragraph: <br /> <br />Outdoor dining in conjunction with a licensed food establishment. Adequate screening, <br />fencing and/or other requirements may be imposed to ensure that such use does not have a <br />detrimental impact on the adjoining properties or the general public <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Liaison Reports.
