Consideration of a Type-4 Non-Confonning Use Pennit (NC05-04) and Site Plan <br />Review (LP05-12) for 2090-2160 County Rd E by DJRArchitecture to construct garages. <br />Report No.06-016. <br /> <br />Director of Community Development, Grant Fernelius gave an overview of <br />the project, explaining new garages would be constructed as well as <br />landscape upgrades. <br /> <br />Several residents near the property shared their concerns, as this property <br />las proven troublesome in the past. <br /> <br />ouneil Member Doffing suggested the following be added to the <br />resolution, to include neighbors and City staff. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Doffing to adopt <br />the attached resolution approving a Type-4 Non-Conforming Use Permit (NC05-04) and <br />Site Plan Review (LP05-12) for 2090-2160 County Road E by DJR Architecture to <br />construct detached garages subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Approval of a permit by the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />2. Light plans for the proposed buildings are submitted to the City detailing placement <br />and illumination date to be approved by the City Planner. <br />3. Applicant to re-orient the garages to an east-west design, but if not feasible will work <br />with staff to address public safety concerns. <br />4. Applicant to submit a revised landscape plan that is acceptable to the City Forester. <br />5. Applicant to work with the Fire Marshal to address any fire related issues. <br />6. Applicant to work with the New Brighton Crime Free Multi-family Officer, staff and <br />surrounding neighbors to Address public safety concerns. <br />7.
