Resolution No. 19- <br /> <br />State of Minnesota <br />County of Ramsey <br />City of New Brighton <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING TEMPORARY REGULATORY SIGNAGE MODIFICATIONS AND <br />ROADWAY STRIPING ON 25TH STREET NW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff from Public Safety and the Department of Community Assets and Development <br />met with representatives from Mounds View Public Schools to discuss interim bus parking <br />conditions as a result of on-going construction at Irondale High School; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff from Public Safety and the Department of Community Assets and Development <br />have reviewed the existing corridor, and with concurrence from Mounds View Public Schools, <br />have concluded that the installation of temporary “Bus Parking Only” and “No Parking” signage <br />in combination with pedestrian access striping and oversight by the School District will provide <br />safe and adequate bus parking during the 2019/2020 school year; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, following completion of the construction work at Irondale High School, the signage <br />and striping will be removed and restored to current conditions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of New Brighton hereby <br />orders: <br />1. The temporary replacement of the existing “No Bus Parking, Loading, Or Unloading” and <br />“2 Hour Parking 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. School Days” signs located along the south side of <br />25th Street NW with “Bus Parking Only 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m. School Days”. <br />2. The temporary replacement of the existing “2 Hour Parking 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. School <br />Days” signs located along the north side of 25th Street NW with “No Parking 8:00 a.m. – <br />4:30 p.m. School Days”. <br />3.
