Assistant Director of Community Assets and Development Gozola stated Mounds View Public Schools is seeking to make improvements to Sunnyside Elementary School by expanding the cafeteria, creating a new kitchen, adding five classrooms (including flexible learning space & bathrooms), and a redesign of the bus parking area to improve student safety. No issues were identified that cannot be overcome with conditions. It was noted the project would begin in the spring of 2020 and be completed by the fall of 2020.
