Professional Services Proposal: New Brighton, MN – Sanitary Sewer Capacity Improvement Project <br /> <br />November 18, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />* Fees for each task will be billed using hourly rates with not to exceed totals shown above. <br /> <br />** The fee for task 5 includes an allowance for general construction related needs on the project. If preferred, <br />New Brighton may elect to utilize this and build an allowance into this contract so that they can utilize Bolton <br />& Menk construction services on an as needed basis during construction. <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br />The fee proposal above is based on the following assumptions: <br />1. The scope of work for all project areas will include sanitary sewer capacity improvements in <br />the City of New Brighton as described above. If during the design phase it is determined that <br />additional utility or surface replacements are warranted, and the project scope is modified, a <br />fee adjustment may be required. <br />2. New Brighton, MN to provide any as-builts and project documentation that they have which <br />may benefit the design of this project. <br />3. New Brighton, MN to provide property ownership and easement information for work <br />located in rear yard or ally areas. <br />4. Any permit application fees will be the responsibility of New Brighton, MN. <br />5. The cost for internal closed circuit televised (CCTV) inspection of the sanitary sewer in <br />question shall be contracted and paid for directly by the City. <br />6. The cost for geotechnical analysis shall be contracted and paid for directly by the City. <br />7. Pre-construction photos to be completed by the City prior to construction unless this work is <br />granted to Bolton and Menk via a Task 5 allowance allotment. <br />8. Project related communication will be provided by Bolton and Menk and distributed to the <br />residents by the City of New Brighton, MN. <br />9. This proposal does not include any time needed to acquire additional project related <br />easements. <br />10. Deliverables will include pdf and electronic files. <br /> <br /> <br />
