Davitt stated another option would be to use a door tag to ensure all residents were notified of the shut off <br />status. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen supported this recommendation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dunsworth recommended an article also be placed in the next City newsletter. She stated she <br />would like to know more about the process would has been followed for the meter replacements and the <br />proposed “Shut Off Notices”. Schlichting stated staff would come back to the Council spelling out the process <br />that would be followed to inform the public of the upcoming “Shut Off Notices”. <br /> <br />Councilmember Burg stated she understood one resident in New Brighton took two different days off of work <br />to have their meter replaced and both times the vendor failed to show. She explained this was a problem. <br />Schlichting commented he understood there were some scheduling or equipment problems for several <br />properties in the City.
