Consideration a Resolution to Approve a Final Planned Residential <br />Development for the Dominium Senior Housing portion of Midtown Village <br />(Phase III). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Dunsworth to adopt a <br />Resolution to Approve a Final Planned Residential Development for the Dominium <br />Senior Housing portion of Midtown Village (Phase III). <br /> <br />City Manager Massopust indicated Assistant Director of Community Assets and Development Gozola would <br />be presenting this item to the Council. <br />Assistant Director of Community Assets and Development Gozola stated Dominium is seeking approval <br />of a Final Planned Residential Development for Phase III of the Midtown Village <br />development. This final phase will include preparation of the remaining land north of Old <br />Highway 8 for development, installation of public improvements, and construction of the <br />affordable senior housing building (to be called Oaks Landing). Preliminary approval for this <br />development was granted by the City Council on May 28th, 2019. Subsequent approvals of the <br />1st & 2nd phases occurred on 7-23-19 and 11-26- 19 respectively. This is the final phase of the <br />Midtown Village development. He reported the Planning Commission reviewed this item and <br />recommended approval of the Final Planned Residential Development. <br />Mayor Johnson questioned when construction would begin. Assistant Director of Community <br />Assets and Development Gozola explained construction would begin in early 2021. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was taken. 5 Ayes, 0 Nays-Motion Carried <br /> <br />2.
