<br /> <br />ensued regarding the grant opportunities and it was noted grant applications should be <br />submitted sooner rather than later. <br />Discussion included: <br /> How requests for multi-jurisdictional corridor grants would be made to the County. It was <br />noted the City may benefit by leveraging dollars to assist with revitalizing these corridors. <br /> The Commission supported the City requesting a grant for Old Highway 8. <br /> The Commission supported the City taking a comprehensive look at the planning efforts for <br />the Old Highway 8 corridor, beginning with an environmental study. <br /> It was noted this grant may lead to facelifts for businesses along the Old Highway 8 corridor. <br />D. 2019/2020 Draft Work Plan Review <br />Gozola reviewed the draft 2019-2020 work plan with the Commission which included potential <br />topics of discussion for each meeting between now and April of 2020. He explained both staff <br />and the commission will continue to reserve the right to deviate from the generalized work plan <br />as circumstances dictate. Note that the January 2020 meeting would be held on New Year’s Day <br />under our standard meeting date/time, so staff has elected to identify January 8th as the <br />meeting date that month. <br />Discussion included: <br /> The Commission thanked staff for their efforts on the Draft Work Plan. <br />VII.
