PROJECT OVERVIEW <br />Public Input <br />As indicated on the draft project timeline (see attached), staff and the Planning <br />Commission are proposing that a zoning code update steering committee be <br />formed to guide this project from beginning to end. We are recommending the <br />committee consist of at least one or two members from each of the following <br />bodies: the City Council, the Planning Commission, and the Economic <br />Development Commission. Additional members from the public should also <br />be recruited in order to have a representative cross-section of the community <br />on the committee (i.e. reps for single family homes, multi -family homes, <br />business owners, industrial businesses, park advocates, minority group <br />advocates, etc).
