SUP & Site Plan Review: City of New Brighton <br />Planning Commission Report; 9-17-19 <br /> <br /> <br />Page 8 <br />Suggested Findings <br />of Fact: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1. The new salt shed location will not be detrimental to the public health or <br />general welfare, but instead is essential for maintaining public safety by <br />ensuring adequate materials are on-hand for winter road maintenance; <br />2. The new salt shed location will not impact the use of surrounding properties, <br />and will not impact surrounding property values; <br />3. The new salt shed location will not have any impact on the normal and <br />ordinary development of surrounding properties; <br />4. The subject site is adequately served by municipal utilities and infrastructure; <br />5. The proposed use can conform to all underlying zoning district requirements. <br /> <br />Recommended <br />Conditions: <br />1. All lighting shall be directed downward and installed so as to prevent direct <br />light from being detectable at the lot line; lighting is also not to shine directly <br />into the public right-of-way. <br />2. The applicants shall obtain authorization from the RCWD for their site plan <br />and proposed building before making improvements to the site. <br /> <br />
