<br />August 20, 2019 <br /> <br />Attn: Craig Schlichting <br />City of New Brighton <br />803 Old Highway 8 NW <br />New Brighton, MN 55112 <br /> <br />RE: Midtown Village <br /> Response to City of New Brighton Comments <br /> Loucks Project No. 18373.00 <br /> <br /> <br />Ben, <br /> <br />On behalf of Dominium Acquisition and Development, Loucks has prepared the following <br />response to the New Brighton City comments letter, dated May 16th, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />General Comments for both Pulte and Dominium <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />1. All existing overhead wires and poles shall be removed. All utilities and services shall be <br />installed underground. <br />Response: Note added to sheet C1-2 stating requirement. <br /> <br />2. Additional street lighting may be required throughout the site(s) and on adjacent streets. <br />Coordinate with City Engineer on requirements. <br /> Response: Further direction necessary, if additional lighting is to be incorporated into <br />plans. <br /> <br />Storm Sewer-Grading <br /> <br />1. All storm sewer utilities within the site are to be considered private and are the <br />responsibility of the property owners for construction and maintenance. <br />Response: Noted. <br /> <br />2. A permit will be required from the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />Response: Conditional approval has been received for Rice Creek Watershed District. A <br />permit will be obtained prior to construction starting. <br />Watermain <br /> <br />1. The watermain system within the site is to be considered private and shall be constructed <br />and maintained by the property owners. A permit will be required for all sewer and water <br />connections and shall be inspected by Public Works. <br />Response: Watermain within north property is private. South site contains an existing <br />public watermain, which is being rerouted and placed in an easement. <br />
