Ordinance to Establish Interim Permitted Use Regulations <br />Planning Commission Review; 9-15-20 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> Section 3: Adding IUP Uses to the I-1 Light Industrial District <br /> Lines 174 & 183. Maintains existing language unchanged. <br /> Lines 175 – 182. Establishes “outdoor recreational improvements for employees such as patios, pergolas, or <br />BBQ stations within required setbacks” as an eligible interim permitted use. To be eligible for approval, the <br />adjacent parcel must be in a natural or undeveloped state within 40 feet of the proposed improvement. <br /> Section 4: Adding IUP Uses to the R-1 Single-Family Residence District <br /> Lines 186 & 197. Maintains existing language unchanged. <br /> Lines 187 – 196. Establishes “accessibility improvements” as an eligible interim permitted use. To be <br />eligible for approval, the applicant would need to demonstrate the proposal is the only reasonably available <br />options to provide access to the structure, that impacts on adjacent properties have been mitigated, and that <br />the improvement would be removed once the residence no longer serves the individual in need of the <br />improvement. <br /> Sections 5 - 8: Adding IUP Uses to all other residential zoning districts. <br /> Lines 198 – 225. Maintains all existing language, but extends the new IUP provisions in the R-1 district out <br />to R-1A, R-2, R-3A, and R-3B. <br /> Section 9: Effective Date. <br /> Lines 226 - 242.
