To allow a use which is reflective of anticipated long-range change to an area and which 28 <br />is in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan provided that said use maintains harmony 29 <br />and compatibility with surrounding uses and is in keeping with the architectural character 30 <br />and design standards of existing uses and development. 31 <br />Sec. 8-145. Application. 32 <br />Applications for an interim use permit shall be made by the fee owner or authorized representative 33 <br />of the fee owner of the property upon which the interim use is proposed. All applications for an 34 <br />interim use permit shall include: 35 <br />(1) A completed City of New Brighton application form; 36 <br />(2) Verification of authority to file the application (i.e., proof of ownership or control of the 37 <br />property; if not the owner of the property, the signature of the fee owner of the property); 38 <br />(3) A letter from the applicant explaining the proposed interim use, why it's needed, and stating 39 <br />the date or event that will terminate the use or trigger required changes; 40 <br />(4) A location map showing the general location of the proposed use within the community and 41 <br />the principal land uses surrounding the parcel on which the interim use is proposed; 42 <br />(5) Development plans for the proposed interim use showing all information deemed necessary 43 <br />by the Department of Community Assets & Development to ensure that it can be determined 44 <br />whether the proposed development will meet all applicable development standards. Such 45 <br />information may include but shall not be limited to the following: 46 <br />A. Site plan drawn to scale showing parcel and existing topography; 47 <br />B. Location of all buildings and the size of each, including square footage; 48 <br />C. Curb cuts, driveways, access roads, parking spaces, off-street loading areas, and 49 <br />sidewalks; 50 <br />D. Natural features such as woodlands, wetlands, shorelines, etc.; 51 <br />E. Landscaping and screening plans, including species and size of trees and shrubs 52 <br />proposed; 53 <br />F. Proposed finished grading and drainage plan sufficient to drain and dispose of all surface 54 <br />water accumulated; 55 <br />G. Type of business or activity and proposed number of employees; 56 <br />H. Proposed floor plan and elevations of any building with use indicated; 57 <br />I. Proposed outdoor storage spaces (if applicable); and 58 <br />J. Signage plan. 59 <br />(6) If deemed necessary by the Department of Community Assets and Development, a survey 60 <br />may be required to be submitted with the application in addition to or in lieu of a site plan. 61
