Page 4 <br />kimley-horn.com 767 Eustis Street, Suite 100, Saint Paul, MN 55114 651 645 4197 <br /> <br />Final Construction Specifications <br />We will provide the City with technical specifications for the project. We have assumed the <br />City will prepare the project manual and bidding specifications for the project. We have <br />assumed City staff will conduct the bidding process. <br /> <br />Private Utility Coordination <br />We will utilize topographic survey and maps provided through a Gopher One Call to understand <br />the potential private utility conflicts with the project. We will conduct and attend up to two (2) <br />meetings with private utility companies during the design phase to coordinate the proposed <br />improvements. <br /> <br />Task 6 – Stormwater Management Design and Watershed Coordination <br /> <br />Stormwater BMP Design and Report <br />We will design a stormwater BMP system to meet applicable NPDES and watershed district <br />requirements. We have assumed up to two (2) stormwater BMP’s may be necessary and could <br />be constructed adjacent to the Old Highway 8 and 8th Avenue NW intersection within public <br />right-of-way or City owned property. We will prepare a drainage report per City and watershed <br />district standards. <br /> <br />Rice Creek Watershed District Coordination <br />Kimley-Horn will meet with the Rice Creek Watershed District to review the proposed <br />improvements and understand any stormwater management requirements for the project. The <br />Old Highway 8 Intersection improvements will trigger the 10,000 square foot threshold requiring <br />stormwater treatment for the Rice Creek Watershed District. We will prepare the necessary <br />permit application information, including a drainage report, meeting Rice Creek Watershed <br />District Standards. We have assumed up to two (2) meetings with RCWD staff will be <br />necessary <br /> <br />Task 7 – Project Meetings and Coordination <br /> <br />Kimley-Horn will prepare for and conduct up to three (3) progress meetings with City, County <br />and/or partner agency staff. We have assumed the meetings will be a final design kick-off <br />meeting, 60% plan review meeting, and 95% construction document review meeting. We will <br />also prepare for and attend up to one (1) Open House meeting with area property owners. <br />We have assumed the open house meeting will be conducted for residential and commercial <br />properties in the project area. We will prepare meeting agendas, materials, and follow-up <br />action items for each meeting to be provided to attendees. <br /> <br />We have assumed that any City Council work session or regular meeting presentations will <br />be given by City staff and that our attendance will not be required. <br /> <br />Additional Services <br /> <br />Any other services not specifically provided for in the above scope will be billed as additional services <br />and performed at our then current hourly rates. Additional services we can provide include, but are <br />not limited to, the following: topographic survey, MN Chapter 429 related services, ROW acquisition <br />services, bidding services and construction phase services. <br />
