COOPERATIVE EFFORT WITH MANAGEMENT <br />•Provide a 6 month summary of Police/ Fire Calls <br />•Work closely with managers on a day to day basis <br />•Review police reports daily and provide them to managers <br />•Work with other city personnel (fire marshal, code compliance officer) to provide resources for tenants and managers to be su re their housing is decent, safe and sanitary <br />•Yearly inspections by city staff <br />•Patrol officers keep the Community Engagement Officer aware of incidents and repetitive calls for service <br />•Promote good community/ police relations through events such as National Night Out <br />•Host quarterly meetings with the apartment managers/ Community Engagement Officer, Fire Marshall and Code Compliance Officer <br />•Issue Disorderly Premise notifications <br />•Check public criminal histories on residents <br />•Advise management of people living at their properties that may not be backgrounded and on a lease <br />•Officers assist in monitoring for issues that may arise through problems with environmental design <br />•Lighting <br />•Property trimmed landscaping <br />•Security of entry/ egress points <br />•ETC <br /> <br />
