9 <br />for 4th Degree DWI. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, May 14 around 8:45 pm, Officers Thomas and Kostohryz stopped a vehicle <br />for multiple moving violations and found that the driver showed signs of impairment. He <br />failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI. His blood alcohol concentration <br />measured .17 and he was booked at the Ramsey County Jail for 2nd Degree DWI based <br />on his level of intoxication and a previous alcohol-related driving conviction. <br /> <br />After receiving a complaint of an impaired driver who had thrown a beer bottle out the <br />window, Officer Craig located the suspect in the parking lot of the County Road D <br />apartments around noon on Friday, May 17, and arrested the 42-year old New Brighton <br />resident for DWI. He was charged with 2nd Degree DWI test refusal. <br /> <br />Shortly before 3 am on Sunday, May 19, Officer Sonterre stopped a vehicle for multiple <br />lane violations and speeding on the interstate. The driver showed signs of impairment <br />and failed field sobriety tests. The driver was arrested for DWI and provided an <br />evidentiary breath sample of .12. The 32-year old Columbia Heights resident was <br />booked for 3rd Degree DWI due to two children, ages 9 and 11, in the vehicle. <br /> <br />Detective DeBoer participated in an afternoon kick-off event with other law enforcement <br />agencies on Monday, May 20, for the statewide Click It or Ticket seatbelt enforcement <br />campaign that runs through June 2. <br /> <br /> <br />IV.
