9 <br />IV. CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE SECTION (CIS), SCHOOL <br />RESOURCE OFFICER (SRO) and VIOLENT CRIME ENFORCEMENT <br />TEAM (VCET) ACTIVITY <br /> <br />This section contains information regarding the Criminal Investigative Section <br />(Detectives) and our School Resource Officers (Irondale, Highview, the Elementary <br />Schools/ Area Learning Center) and the member of the Ramsey County Violent Crime <br />Enforcement Team (VCET). This includes summary data of investigations and <br />clearances by the Criminal Investigative Section. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Det. DeBoer signed a complaint against a 23-year-old St. Paul man for stealing mail. The <br />complaint carries a maximum sentence of 3 years and/or a $5,000 fine. <br /> <br />Det. Lochen signed a complaint against a 28-year-old New Brighton man for theft. The <br />charge carries a maximum sentence of 5 years and/or a $10,000 fine. <br /> <br />Det. Lochen signed a complaint against a 59-year-old Fridley man for Fleeing in a Motor <br />Vehicle and Gross Misdemeanor DWI. The Fleeing charge carries a maximum sentence <br />of 3 years and/or a $5,000 fine and the DWI charge carries a maximum sentence of 1 year <br />and/or a $3,000 fine. <br /> <br />Det. Lochen signed complaints against a 25-year-old St. Paul woman and a 38-year-old <br />St. Paul man for Financial Transaction Card Fraud. The charge carries a maximum <br />sentence of 3 years and/or a $3,000 fine for each. <br /> <br />After approximately two months of undercover (UC) buys, our VCET officer assisted in <br />arresting the three parties involved.
