The 65-year- <br />old Robbinsdale resident was booked at the Ramsey County Jail for 4th Degree DWI. <br /> <br />Officer Wodnick cited 11 motorists for not wearing their seat belts during a grant-funded <br />shift on Thursday, September 19, as part of the statewide Click It or Ticket extra <br />enforcement campaign. <br /> <br />Officer Kostohryz stopped a driver for a hands-free cell phone violation around 6:15 pm <br />on Saturday, September 21, and observed that the driver displayed signs of stimulant use. <br />The driver consented to field sobriety tests, which he failed and was arrested for DWI. A <br />search warrant was written and a blood sample taken from the driver. A search of the <br />vehicle found methamphetamine residue and a meth pipe. The suspect was booked at the <br />Ramsey County Jail for 4th Degree DWI and the drugs. <br /> <br />On September 26, New Brighton squads were dispatched on a suspicious person slumped <br />over the steering wheel of a business in the 1100 block of Old Hwy 8. Upon their arrival, <br />they locate the party and discovered the suspect walking around the vehicle and showing <br />signs of alcohol impairment. A preliminary breath test showed a BAC of .323. He was <br />arrested for DWI and brought back to the station. There he refused to take a breath test. <br />He was booked for a 3rd Degree DWI Test Refusal. <br /> <br />Shortly before midnight on Friday, September 27, Officer Pyka observed a male asleep in <br />the driver's seat of a running vehicle in the parking of a closed business. When awoken, <br />the male displayed signs of controlled substance use. He failed field sobriety tests and <br />began vomiting, then requested medical attention. He was arrested and brought to <br />Regions Hospital by Allina. A search warrant was written and a blood sample obtained. <br />He was cited for DWI and released from custody to be discharged from the hospital. <br /> <br />On September 29, Officer Kostohryz conducts a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. <br />The driver displayed signs of impairment and consented to field sobriety tests. The <br />driver displayed multiple clues of impairment. The driver was arrested for DWI and a <br />search warrant was written. A blood sample was taken. The driver was cited and booked <br />at Ramsey County LEC for 4th Degree DWI. <br /> <br />
