February 9, 2021 Page 6 of 6 <br />Pam Axberg <br />Councilmember Axberg reported she attended her first EDC meeting on Wednesday, February <br />Yd stating the group discussed TUV SUD and business outreach. She explained it was very <br />cold outside and noted Ramsey County was working with all homeless shelters to ensure no <br />one is left outside in the cold. She stated she was happy to report she received the COVID <br />vaccine and would be educating the public about this opportunity. <br />Abdullahi Abdulle <br />Councilmember Abdulle reported the Planning Commission would be meeting on Tuesday, <br />February 16th. He noted he attended the Ramsey County Economic Competitiveness and <br />Inclusion Plan meeting last week. He explained he enjoyed seeing all of the housing data <br />Ramsey County presented at this meeting. <br />Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas <br />Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas reported she also attended the Ramsey County Economic <br />Competitiveness and Inclusion Plan meeting last week. She anticipated the County would be <br />coming to the City with the information that was presented at this meeting. She noted she <br />attended a League of Women's Voter event where the group heard from State legislators. She <br />discussed the process the Council would be following to appoint members of the public to the <br />City's open Commission seats. She stated the Stockyard Days Committee was seeking <br />volunteers at this time.
