I. INCIDENT RESPONSE INFORMATION <br />The following information contains summaries of significant police and fire related <br />incidents during the month. <br />On December 10th Officers responded to Freeway Towing at 299 5th Ave NW. An <br />employee heard a car alarm sounding in the lot. Officers responded and located two <br />suspects hiding. One suspect identified as Stephanie Olson, 43 years of age, was booked <br />for Trespassing and Possession of a Meth Pipe. The second suspect identified as Matthew <br />Mills, 22 years of age, gave officers a false name. He was found to have a felony warrant <br />for Possession of Burglary Tools. He too was arrested. CN 14015373. <br />On December 10th Officer Wakasugi and Officer Nerison responded to the 400 block of <br />Riviera Drive on a report of a 2 %2 year old female having difficulty breathing. Officer <br />Wakasugi arrived and found the child struggling to get a breath and she also had a weak <br />pulse. The child went into full cardiac arrest and Officer Wakasugi administered CPR <br />assisted by Officer Nerison. A weak pulse and breathing were regained. Allina arrived <br />and immediately transported the child to Amplatz Children's Hospital. Officer Nerison <br />rode in the ambulance and assisted in rescue breathing. The child still had a pulse and <br />very labored breathing when arriving at Hospital. Detective Sypniewski was advised to <br />assist in the investigation. CN 14015405. <br />On December 17th, Sgt. Singer, Sgt. Moore, Officer Kingslien, Officer Farmer and <br />Officer Craig assisted the U.S. Marshal's Service in arresting a suspect who was wanted <br />for Murder. The Officers and U.S. Marshal's found the suspect, identified as Christopher <br />James Butchee, 29 years of age from New Brighton, and took him into custody in the 200 <br />block of Old Hwy 8 SW. The arrest occurred without incident. CN 14015715. <br />On December 31St the Fire Division was dispatched to I694 at Silver Lake Road for a <br />vehicle fire. Crews arrived on scene and were able to extinguish the fully involved car <br />fire and keep their water spray off the highway to prevent further icing and crashed. <br />II.
