Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Fields. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Members Present: Commissioners Brunell, Fields, Johnson, Justin, McEathron, <br />and Quade. <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Axberg and Eischen. <br />Also Present: Director, Jennifer Fink; Assistant Director, Jason Hicks; Recreation <br />Supervisors, Patrice Atkinson and Lori Hokenson and Council Member Brian Strub <br />(sitting in for Council Member Burg). <br />II. Approval of Agenda <br />MOTION BY COMMISSIONER JUSTIN, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MCEATHRON, TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. ALL AYES, MOTION CARRIED. <br />IV. Approval of Minutes: <br />A. November 1, 2017 Minutes <br />Commissioner Justin noted a change on the November 1, 2017 minutes <br />under item IV.A. The year should be changed from 2107 to 2017. MOTION <br />BY COMMISSIONER JUSTIN, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MCEATHRON, TO APPROVE THE NOVEMBER 1, 2017 MINUTES AS <br />AMENDED. ALL AYES. MOTION CARRIED. <br />V. New Business <br />A. Health, Wellness, and Membership Update <br />Patrice Atkinson, Recreation Supervisor and Lori Hokenson, Recreation <br />Supervisor gave a presentation on Health, Wellness and Membership <br />Update. <br />VI. Old Business <br />A. Eagles Nest Grand Opening and Update <br />Director Fink gave a presentation of the very successful Eagles Nest Grand <br />Opening. During the 3 hours of the grand opening we had 3,300 people. <br />Director Fink expressed her gratitude to Zoe Kesselring and Lori Hokenson <br />for their efforts to create an event that exceeded expectations. <br />• In 1St 10 operating days since the opening there were 6,150 in <br />attendance. <br />• On Nov. 18 — 1,543 wristbands were distributed <br />• Nov. 22 — nearly 800 youth wristbands sold <br />Staff Contributions: Bill Bach, Jason Hicks, Jen Dorn, Guest Services Staff <br />VII. Announcements <br />A. Council Report — Council Member Strub <br />Council Member Strub commented he was on the PREC Commission back in <br />1 <br />
