05
• RTU 1-7 are using OA Enthalpy
to as decision process to enable
Economizer and disable
mechanical cooling.
• System is equipped with
scheduling capabilities. Currently
the building is operating with a 24
hours per day 7 days a week.
• Modify enable sequence for
RTU's to allow economizing
and mechanical at the same
time. Sequence on RTU
internal configuration may not
allow mechanical to enable
until OA is full open. Add
sequence to intelligently control
min OA damper position
setpoint to maximize OA intake
in those instances
• Operating as much as
possible is ideal for air
exchange through the facility.
However, the units should be
periodically transitioned to
Unoccupied operation for
calibration purposes.
At a Glance
• Ventilation Prioritization
control sequencing maximizes
fresh air ventilation while
maintaining normalized space
temperature conditions.
• Allowing the units to periodically
unoccupy and recalibrate will help
ensure that OA dampers are
performing as expected for
consistent air exchange.
