March 26,2019 Page 7 of 7 <br /> Graeme Allen <br /> Councilmember Allen reported he enjoyed attending the parks neighborhood planning meeting <br /> on Thursday, March 21st. He encouraged residents to visit the City's website and to get <br /> involved on the social pin point portion in order to provide feedback on the Parks Master Plan. <br /> 1 He thanked all of the residents that applied for and were willing to serve on the City's <br /> Commissions. He stated he looked forward to serving on the EDC again this year and noted <br /> this group would meet next on Wednesday, April 3rd at 7:30 a.m. He indicated he would be <br /> attending a CPY meeting on Thursday, March 28th <br /> Mayor Johnson <br /> Mayor Johnson reported she recently attended a 35W Coalition meeting for Councilmember <br /> Allen. She noted construction on the 35W corridor was slated to begin in 2019 and would take <br /> three years to complete. She explained construction of the sound walls would begin to the <br /> north. She encouraged residents to be patient through the road construction process and stated <br /> in the long run this project would be great for the City. She thanked the Long Lake <br /> Improvement Association members for testifying at the House for funding for invasive species. <br /> She noted she attended the North Metro Mayors meeting at the Capitol last Wednesday.
