Consider Authorization for Maintenance Facility Garage Door Replacement. <br />Motion by Councihnember Allen, seconded by Councihnember Axberg to approve the Consent <br />Agenda as presented. <br />' 5 Ayes, 0 Nays- Motion Carried <br />Public Hearine <br />City Project 20-1, 2020 Street Rehabilitation Assessment Hearing. <br />City Manager Massopust indicated Engineering Supervisor Lynde would be presenting this item to the <br />Council. <br />Engineering Supervisor Lynde stated City Project 20-1, 2020 Street Rehabilitation consisted of the <br />rehabilitation of approximately 0.86 miles of residential streets by the removal of the existing <br />bituminous surfacing, removal and replacement of sections of concrete curb and gutter, storm <br />sewer improvements, hydrant replacements, street excavation and grading, aggregate base, <br />bituminous surfacing, and boulevard repair on the following streets: <br />Valley View Lane - West of Silver Lake Road <br />Knollwood Drive - County Road H to Valley View Lane <br />Eastman Drive - Knollwood Drive to Robin Lane <br />Gregory Drive - Silver Lake Road to Longview Drive <br />Longview Drive - Eastman Drive to Gregory Drive <br />Robin Lane - County Road H to Eastman Drive <br />Engineering Supervisor Lynde commented furtheronthe 2021 Special Assessment Report, which <br />contains project costs, assessment rates, a project location map, the senior deferral program, <br />' and the resolution necessary for the adoption of the assessments and recommended approval. <br />Councilmember Axberg asked if costs came in close to the engineers estimate. Engineering <br />Supervisor Lynde discussed the engineers estimate and noted actual project costs came in lower than <br />anticipated. <br />Councilmember Abdulle recommended the Council revisit the code and expand the types of deferments and <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />4.
