Paetznick, Director of Public Safety <br />CITY MANAGER’S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report ___ Comments attached ___ <br /> <br />Recommendation: Accept the Public Safety Commission’s recommendation to appoint Geoff <br />Hollimon as the Public Safety Commission chairperson and Karen Wagner as <br />vice-chair for the upcoming year. <br /> <br />Legislative History: April 11, 2022: Commissioner Wagner nominated Commissioner Hollimon to <br />serve as chairperson for the next year, with a second by Commissioner Kuipers. <br />Commissioner Hollimon nominated Commissioner Wagner to service as vice- <br />chair for the next year, with a second by Commissioner Winkels. No other <br />nominations were received. Both votes passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: n/a <br /> <br />Explanation: In accordance with City Code Section 2-66 (1), the Public Safety Commission <br />recommended chair and vice-chair appointments for the upcoming year at their <br />April 11, 2022 meeting. Both Commissioners recommended meet the criteria of <br />City Code Section 2-66 (3). Both Commissioners Hollimon and Wagner <br />indicated their willingness to serve in these capacities over the next year, <br />should the Council accept these recommendations. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Anthony S.
