<br />. <br /> <br />at 5th & Inca. Mr. Norlinger would also like to see a stop sign at this intersection. He <br />stated the speed issue is ~-1 block away. <br /> <br />Mr. Proper reported that 5th St NW was reconstructed four or so years ago and at that <br />time, this street was narrowed to 38 feet wide to assist with "traffic calming." Mr. Proper <br />distributed a stop sign handout which showed the warrants that would need to be met to <br />recommend an all-way stop. Mr. Proper stated this intersection does not meet the <br />warrants and he would not recommend a stop sign. Comm. Elwell agreed and asked <br />about the possibility of lighting the crosswalk with signage. Comm. Kelly added that <br />Sunnyside Elementary puts out a triangle sign with a flashing light in the crosswalk. Mr. <br />Proper stated he can check with Mr. Dan Solar, Ramsey County,~~:~ut this type of a sign. <br />Comm. Bredenbeck asked if the south side of 5th St should be po, .. "no student drop <br />off." He also suggested if it would be possible to come off of 191h Wand access <br />the back parking lot. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Maas stated he would like to consider the caution lig <br />Representative Moore-Sykes asked about the possibility <br />Mr. Skinner stated the cost of a crosswalk light woul me cilt offering <br />subsidized bussing would be an ongoing cost a~:~ so ......
