Regardless, provided references were contacted, and all reported no issues or <br />concerns with Republic’s services. <br />REPUBLIC SERVICES (RS) –CONTRACT CHANGES <br />As part of the RFP, all providers were given the City’s base service contract from which negotiations would begin (see <br />attached RFP, Attachment A), and each provider was asked to identify changes they would seek if selected as the <br />preferred provider. Legal Counsel and staff will negotiate out final contract parameters in the coming weeks, and we <br />intend to have a final contract before Council by the August 8th meeting for consideration (consent agenda). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Direct staff to negotiate a final five-year contract for recycling services with Republic Services.
