Offsite Disposal of Contaminated Water from 1201 Old Highway 8 <br /> <br />Description: CONTRACTOR is directed to dispose contaminated water that was discovered in an <br />abandoned sump below the former Lange property building at 1201 Old Highway 8. The estimated quantity <br />of contaminated water is 300 ga1l0ns. <br /> <br />Reason for Change: The presence of these items was not known prior to demolition, as so their disposal <br />was not included in the original scope of work outlined in the Contract Documents. Additional items were <br />discovered below the floor slab during demolition and could not have been anticipated in the original bid by <br />the Contractor. <br /> <br />Change in Contract Price: Disposal of the contaminated sump water shall be measured per 55-ga1l0n drum <br />container and sha1l be paid at a Unit Price of $325 per 55-gallon drum of contaminated water.
