<br />Page 5 - February 14. 2006 New Brighton Council Minutes <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. Considerations of modifications of Chapter 19 of the City's Administrative <br />code. Report No. 06-056. <br /> <br />The City Manager explained that a gap was present in the City's Administrative code <br />dealing with harassment. There was not a procedure in place in the event that the <br />City Manager is involved. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Burg to approve <br />the attached modification to chapter 19 of the City's administrative code. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Member Burg explained that in the preceding work session it was discussed <br />and agreed upon that Council Member Annie Hoffman would be appointed as <br />Liaison for this purpose. <br />Council member Doffing asked to include that Council Member Hoffman would <br />share any information learned with the other council members, then seconded the <br />lotion. <br /> <br />Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements, and Updates <br />Municipal Advisory Commission Reports: <br /> <br />1. Council Member Mary Burg - Public Safety Commission <br /> <br />Attended her first Public Safety Commission meeting, and reported the following: <br /> <br />-There was a blood Drive, 35 people donated. <br />-Over 4000 volunteer hours were reported. <br />- The Explores donation was greatly appreciated. <br />-Mary Bitzen-Heib and Kathy McNeely were honored at Northwest Youth and <br />Family services, for their contributions, primarily with Santa Cop. <br />-A representative form the EOC State of Minnesota visited acknowledging the efforts <br />of the City and employees during hurricane Katrina. <br />- Troy Hyland was voted 2005 Officer of the year by his peers. <br />-Ed Bova was honored at a retirement party. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3.
