Resolution No. 06-026 <br /> <br />Janice Gundlach, City Planner gave an overview of the item, reviewing zoning <br />setbacks. The Planning Commission recommended approval with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. Outside repair of vehicles is prohibited. <br />2. Outside storage of parts/tires is prohinbited. <br />3. Overnight parking and/ or storage of vehicles in excess of 72 hours is prohibited, <br />except vehicles associated with open repair tickets. <br /> <br />lotion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Burg to waive <br />e reading and adopt the attached resolution approving a Special Use Permit (SP <br />6-02) to formally recognize the existing automotive repair use subject to the <br />conditions recommended by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />4 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />3b. Consideration of Contract for Private Redevelopment with Ryan Builders, <br />Inc. (Ryan Companies US) for Development at 200 5th Ave. NW Report <br />No. 06-0645 <br /> <br />Assistant Director of Community Development gave a brief history of the item. It <br />was stated that it was intended for the carrier annex of the Post Office to occupy <br />this space. Mr. Black outlined some key areas of the agreement. <br /> <br />Conncll Member Burg questioned the effect on the property if the plans for the <br />Post Office do not go through. <br />Mr. Black responded that Ryan Companies would then have the option to <br />withdraw. <br />I. ouncil Member Burg questioned where residents would be able to pick up any <br />held" mail. <br />att Fulton stated that staff would verify the process for this. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Burg, seconded by Council Member Hoffman to <br />approve the attached contract for private redevelopment with Ryan Builders Inc. for <br />the development at 200 5th Ave. NW. <br /> <br />3.
