Council Member Mary Burg - Public Safety Commission <br />Council Member Burg reported there was not a Public Safety meeting. <br /> <br />2. Council Member Ann Hoffman - Parks, Recreation, and Environmental <br />Commission <br />Council Member Hoffman reported the Parks and Recreation and Environmental <br />lommission met March 1. The Park Recreation and Trails strategic plan was <br />is cussed. Earth day is April 22. <br /> <br />3. Council Member Sharon Doffing - Planning Commission <br />Council Member Doffing reported the Planning Commission did not meet. <br />It was reported that Applewood Point is scheduled to open January 2007, with 75% <br />of units sold. <br /> <br />4. Council Member Gina Bauman. Economic Development Commission- <br />Council Member Bauman reported that the EDC met and discussed Northwest <br />Quadrant site plan reviews and property acquisitions, and ways to inform the <br />community of Northwest Quadrant issues. <br /> <br />5. Mayor Larson <br />Mayor Larson reported wi.fi would be available at City Hall, Public Safety Center <br />and the Family Service Center. <br />March 22, 2006 Brightwood Hills Golf Clubhouse would be dedicated to the memory <br />of Michael Walker. <br />City Council had the opportunity to meet with the top 3 candidates for the position <br />of Director of Public Works. <br />larch 30, 2006 State of the Cities legislative conference with the League of <br />innesota Cities will be in St. Paul, Mayor Larson plans on attending. <br />ayor Larson represented New Brighton at the National League of Cities conference <br />n Washington, DC. <br />Public Safety and Crime Prevention Steering Committee met twice, immigration <br />issues were discussed. <br /> <br />Commission Liaison <br />Reoorts.
