<br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />Allina Medical <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Snoke provided date for 2005 which included: a breakdown of the number of <br />ambulance calls by type, emergency response times, and response times by year. <br /> <br />Comm. Bredenbeck asked what would be needed for our officers to attain the higher <br />level of training to become EMT's. Director Jacobson stated ~~"",EMT title allows the <br />officer to earn a "self point" which entitIes them to more pay; ~hich he thinks is worth it. <br />Corom. Elwell asked about the status of the Paramedic/EMT teams. Mr. Snoke stated <br />this is going very good. They have not seen any changes in the mortalHy rates, etc. since <br />this switch. it <br /> <br />Comm. Woods asked how many nursing home patients us m <br />emergencies. Mr. Snoke stated Allina has "transfer" ambu ance to en <br />needed. They try to use other means for people who'S!pn't have to be on s r tcher. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Snoke also noted the new CPR standard whicB-is 30 minutes o(~~R before calling <br />it. Since CPR is now continuous compressions, this can be "xery tiring for the people on <br />scene. We will probably see more fire department personn~l~elping out on these <br />medical calls just so there are enough bodies to provide continuous compressions for 30 <br />minutes. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Corom. Woods noted the <br />a VIPS will have theirmo y mee g week. <br />a T Kid Care opportunities have been done. <br />a So PS members will attend the 2006 Minnesota Citizen Corps Seminar on Feb. <br />25th. <br />a VIPS aised$2,000 for Project Lifesaver. <br /> <br /> <br />U date <br /> <br />Director Jacobson reported he met with Mr. Skinner, Bel Air Principal, and he feels the <br />speed is better by the school; however, he will still talk to Mr. Les Proper regarding some <br />sort of a crosswalk sign. <br /> <br />Director Jacobson reported the Fire Captain process is complete. The Fire Captains are: <br />Scott Elwell, Tony Paetznick, Ron Finney, Sr., Trevor Hamdorfand Scott Vaughn. <br />
