New Brighton Council Minutes <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Following additional discussion, the City Manager suggested that this item be tabled to <br />allow some time to explore alternative designs working with all parties involved. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Moore-Sykes seconded by Council Member Doffing, to table <br />the PRD for 1190 Long Lake Rd-Christian Science Church until February 8, 2005. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />4. Consideration of City Code amendments to Section 26-2, and Section 4-490, and <br />Section 6-560 of the Zoning Code. Report 05-035 <br /> <br />City Planner gave an overview of the proposed amendments; the intent of the changes <br />will be to assist in managing advertisement in commercial windows. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Doffing, seconded by Council Member Burg, to waive the <br />reading and adopt the attached resolution recommending approval SP04-15 of the <br />Special Use Permit, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The plan shall constitute the permitted signs for that area. Any future <br />change to the plan shall be submitted under special use permit procedure <br />and when adopted shall become part of that plan. <br /> <br />City staff review of all Main Street Village signs for consistency with the <br />Main Street Village Sign Plan is required prior to the issuance of any <br />permanent sign permits. Staff will review the proposed signs for <br />consistency of the size, location, style, colors and general character of the <br />proposed sign. <br /> <br />Except for specific requirements and standards listed in the Main Street <br />Village Sign plan the regulations found in Section 9-040 General Provisions <br />Applicable to All Districts, apply to the Main Street Village. <br /> <br />For purposes of calculation, each "window light" shall mean each full size <br />window pane; the smaller transom pane not included. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />5.
