Consideration of City Code amendments to Section 26-2, and Section 4-490, and Section 6-560 of the Zoning Code. Report 05-035 City Planner gave an overview of the proposed amendments; the intent of the changes will be to assist in managing advertisement in commercial windows. Motion by Council Member Doffing, seconded by Council Member Burg, to waive the reading and adopt the attached resolution recommending approval SP04-15 of the Special Use Permit, subject to the following conditions: 1. The plan shall constitute the permitted signs for that area. Any future change to the plan shall be submitted under special use permit procedure and when adopted shall become part of that plan. City staff review of all Main Street Village signs for consistency with the Main Street Village Sign Plan is required prior to the issuance of any permanent sign permits. Staff will review the proposed signs for consistency of the size, location, style, colors and general character of the proposed sign. Except for specific requirements and standards listed in the Main Street Village Sign plan the regulations found in Section 9-040 General Provisions Applicable to All Districts, apply to the Main Street Village.
