Nine bids were <br />received with the low bid from Veit in the amount of$260,325.10. The project will be <br />funded by Mn/DOT, RCWDistrict and New Brighton Stormwater Management Fund. <br />Larson requested consideration ofthe transplanting of smaller trees if needed. <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Hoffman, to AWARD THE BID FOR PROJECT 00- <br />5,1-694 SEDIMENTATION BASIN TO VEIT AND COMPANY, INC. IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $260,325.10. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Consideration of a preliminary and final plat for the Main Street V i1lage property north of <br />6th St. south of Old Hwy 8, and west of 5th Ave. NW. The proposal would create one lot <br />our ofthe existing six lots. A portion ofthe site would be dedicated to Ramsey County <br />resulting in addition to Old Hwy 8 NW and 5th Ave. NW. <br /> <br />Motion by Hoffman, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT <br />THE RESOLUTION OF A PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT OF PLOI-04, <br />SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />1. THE DEVELOPER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILING THE FINAL <br />PLAT FOR RAMSEY COUNTY. <br />2. ALL EASEMENTS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVAL <br />OF THE CITY ENGINEER. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Consideration of a Zoning Ordinance Amendment to Sections 7-210, 7-230 regarding <br />Planned Unit Development and Sections 5-330, 5-340, 5-350 and 5-360 regarding the B-4 <br />Downtown Business zone.
