Larson <br />explained that traffic signage is not being addressed in this portion ofthe guide. <br /> <br />Motion by Hoffman, seconded by Sweeley, to APPROVE THE PLANNING AND <br />DESIGN STANDARDS AS A GUIDE TO THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE <br />BRIGHTON VILLAGE AREA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Site plan review and special use permit to construct an addition to Trondale High School and <br />expandJreconfigure parking areas. John Gannon, Project Architect, presented the design <br />renderings for the project. <br /> <br />Alma Stepanchak, 2180 27th Ave. NW, noted concern ofthe existing parking conditions. <br />Gannon said the project will reconfigure current parking areas to enhance parking facilities. <br /> <br />Motion by Moore-Sykes, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION APPROVING SPOl-08 AND LPOI-08, AND DENIAL OF <br />VNOI-04 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONS: <br />1. APPLICANT SHALL WORK WITH CONSULTING ARCHITECT AND CITY <br />STAFF TO EXPLORE AND DEVELOP AL TERNA TIVES TO SOFTEN <br />EFFECTS OF EXTERIOR TIP-UP P ANEL WALLS AND REPORT BACK TO <br />JULY 17,2001, PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING. <br />2. PROOF OF PARKING AGREEMENT FILED WITH THE CITY FOR 28 <br />PARKING SPACES; APPROVED SITE PLAN SHALL ILLUSTRATE THESE <br />SP ACES AND CONFORM TO ALL PARKING CODE REQUIREMENTS. <br />3. THE PARKING STALLS IN THE PROOF OF PARKING AREA SHALL BE <br />CONSTRUCTED IF THE PRESENT AGREEMENT WITH LONG LAKE <br />COMMUNITY CHURCH DISSOLVES AND IF CITY STAFF DETERMINES <br />ADDITIONAL PARKING ON SITE IS NEEDED. <br />4. PERIMETER CURBING MUST BE INSTALLED AROUND ALL OFF- <br />STREET PARKING AREA. <br />5. APPROVAL BY RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT. <br />6.
