The original request was made going on 3 months ago and traffic continues to
not stop for pedestrians. As per our conversation today we will need to wait until the
city/traffic engineer returns from vacation.

I noticed St. Anthony Village has placed a similar sign that says "stop for pedestrians" atthe
location near the St. Anthony Shopping Center by the fire station. It is a red and white sign.
I feel the sign we have presented that is found along Snelling Avenue in St. Paul is a more
effective choice for a sign. TIlls sign has the wording of "State Law".

I appreciate the "sting" efforts and the article in the city newspaper.

I would also like to volunteer to stand on Long Lake Road at the Rosewood Court crosswalk
with a police officer to help educate people who do not stop for pedestrians.

Thank you for your support,
Teresita (T eny) Pawlyshyn

~~
{Ajt yiL if
(-fo Y1'L

1//) - 3'7 ~ - ~ 3', f'
flS-/ - f/ 3'~ .- 7 SO I

t

[CLICK HERE AND TYPE RETURN ADDRESS)
