It is a speedway :from Long Lake Road to 14th. Every <br />afternoon the Irondale students race past my house. some not even hesitating at the stop <br />sign. I called the police about this just recently to ask for some surveillance...il' s on <br />record. <br /> <br />· 'Ibis addition will block the view coming down the hill and also the view for the Irondale <br />speedway crowd. <br /> <br />None of the surrounding homes have any children because our tots have moved on and <br />some of us are grandparen~ but when we eventually sell. there will be families on these <br />corners. These children v..ill be at great risk, as will any pedestrian or biker with this <br />structure blocking everyone" 5 view. <br /> <br />In ODposition of the Citv CodeINo Hardship <br />In New Brighton historically there has not been a similar variance approved (i.e. 2_75 feet <br />from a street lot line) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This approval will open the door to every corner house in New Brighton to add on similar <br />garage stalls. There are no other 3 car garages in the area Does ibis mean I can make my <br />garage bigger and get a variance to go out the front? This opens ~ a can of Worms_ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />This approval will cause a polarization of neighbors - some of whom haven't a clue of <br />what's happening and 1he implications. When the actuality of the 2.75 foot setback hits, <br />the ensuing indignation of the neighborhood will be very strong_ <br />
