<br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-232 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT UTILITY BILLS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City provides water and sewer services; <br /> <br />! <br />:' WHEREAS, the cost of these services is to be paid by the benefitted <br />property; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to manage the 3ervices the City relies on prompt paY.(Ient, of <br />the amount billed; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Code provides that delinquent water and sewer bills <br />can be certified for collection with the property taxes; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a delinquency is defined as unpaid charges which are at <br />least ninety (90) days past due and over $100.00 as of September; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Ramsey County, State of Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The amount to be certified shall be as specified on Attachment A. ! <br /> <br />2. The amount certified shall include interest at the rate of 8% per <br />annum . <br /> <br />3.
