SCHOOL DAYS ON ALL STREETS IN THE <br />POPPYSEED AREA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />City Manager Matthew Fulton presented a public hearing on the application for an off- <br />sale liquor license for NB Liquor Barrel, 2130 Silver Lk. Rd. Melvyn Henry d.b.a. NB <br />Liquor Barrel has applied for the license, and the background check revealed no reason to <br />deny. City ordinance requires a public hearing, and notice was published in the Bulletin <br />and posted at City Hall. This store will be located in the Rice Creek Shopping Center. <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Hoffman, to CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Hoffman, to DECLARE THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING HELD AND GRANT AN OFF -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE TO NB <br />LIQUOR BARREL, 2120 SILVER LAKE ROAD, UPON PAYMENT OF FEES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes ~ 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />City Planner Cary Teague presented a request for a non-conforming use permit,S ft. <br />height variance and site plan review. The purpose of this request is to construct an <br />81,500 sq. ft., 50 unit apartment building with underground parking. The property is <br />located at 219 Old Hwy 8 NW, and zoned Multiple Family Residential, R-3A.
