It is the City's hope that Kraus Anderson
will share in this cost. Samuelson confirmed that Council authorization applies to the
entire cost of the study, and any contribution from Kraus Anderson would reduce that
amount.

Moore-Sykes asked if Kraus Anderson would participate in a study which could be
contrary to their perceptions ofthe Center. Scaff believes Kraus Anderson will work with
the City to provide direction and promote new ideas. Fulton said the study would help
determine the viability of supporting a grocery store, and noted that both the City and
Kraus Anderson have a vested interest in this site.

Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Moore-Sykes, to AUTHORIZE STAFF TO
FINALIZE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE MCCOMB
GROUP, LTD.
