I

I

...-

,

period would be a significant impediment to left turns especially
if all the Minar traffic was added to the McDonald's traffic and
concentrated in the first one-half block west of the intersection.
I would wonder what the risk would be of traffic backing up on to
Silver Lake Road because of being unable to turn left due to the
stacking on North Innsbruck Drive. There is only room for about 5
cars to stack in that left turn area between the light and the
proposed Minar access.

After making this effort to do a traffic count I continue to
be concerned about the wisdom of concentrating all the Minar and
McDonald's traffic in the one-half block west of the intersection.
These traffic counts do not take into account the increase in
traffic anticipated by the traffic consultant as a consequence of
the redevelopment. I fail to see how 261 cars during AM Peak (page
2, fourth paragraph of the traffic study) will be able to negotiate
the left turn into Minar Road without causing considerable
congestion which will probably spill out on to Silver Lake Road.

Thank you to the Mayor and City Council Members for their time
and attention in reading this letter. I remain strongly opposed to
moving the Minar Ford traffic problem on 27th to the first half
block of North Innsbruck west of Silver Lake Road by creating a
main entrance for Minar to be shared with McDonald's.

Sincerely,

~~IJ~ />?,.~.

M..
