Rd. The minor subdivision provides for a land swap to create a new
entrance for Minar and provide additional land for McDonalds. In July, Council
deferred the request so to address traffic issues and review the Minar proposal. The
proposal meets all City Code requirements relating to setbacks, traffic movements, and
parking standards. The City Forester has approved the landscape plan.

Larson asked if the City-owned ROW on McDonalds' northern edge could be use for a
right turn only lane. Teague believes there is sufficient space, but existing trees would
need to be removed. Larson said the trees could be transplanted to adjacent green
spaces. Benke feels the engineers could simultaneously analyze this option with options
brought forth through the Minar plan. Larson asked if action at this time could impact
this option's availability. Benke said being that the identified ROW is available, the only
issue is whether additional ROW would need to be acquired.

Council Business

Minar Special Use
Permit
Report 98-174
Resolution 98-081
Resolution 98~082

McDonalds Site Plan
Report 98-174
Resolution 98-083
